New Policy On Membership Refunds From Double Payments

We have recently seen members joining a second time and paying for a new membership because they forgot the log in ID they used when the originally joined or renewed. This creates a second membership for the same person which we have to refund. With our new system it isn't possible to just apply credit for the next year as we did in the past.


The problem we have is that when people pay a second time with PayPal, we are charged a PayPal fee. Therefore if you join a second time and pay $20 for an individual membership, we can only refund you that amount minus the fee paid to PayPal which will be $18.81.
