Brenham area wildflower trip

We will meet up at around 8 am on Thursday, April 10th and try to hit the road as soon as everyone is there. We will need a few drivers as we expect to have 10-12 participants. We will drive from Kingwood to Whitehall, Texas where there are several fields that are accessible. From there we will go to Chappell Hill and then north towards Washington on the Brazos State Park (there is no entry fee for this park). Our next stop will be the old Baylor College ruins at Independence, if the timing is right we can stop for lunch at the general store.

Depending on the time we will either start the trip home or drive south through Brenham and towards Fayetteville where there is a ranch with zebras and wildflowers and then drive home.
