Get Ready For Our May Share & Learn, Our Theme is Motion
This month our theme is a simple one, we want to see your images that define motion. They can be pictures that freeze motion or show motion through a blur. Try panning with a moving object or zooming the lens while exposing. Even intentional camera movement or ICM defines motion! Showing motion in photography is a great way to make your images feel alive and dynamic. For motion blurs: Use a slow shutter speed so moving subjects blur while the rest of the scene stays sharp. A Final Reminder About Our Painted Churches Photo Tour
When: May 14th, 6:30 am to 4 pm Where: We will leave Kingwood First Baptist and drive to the Chamber of Commerce at 618 Main St. Schulenburg Cost: $25 per person plus a split fee for the tour guide and gas and your lunch This was a big request for a photo field trip over the past year so don't miss out! The lady at the chamber has lined us up with one of their guides who is a photographer so he knows what folks like us are interested in photographing. We will do 3-4 churches

Monthly Lunch Bunch Meetup at Fire Craft BBQ

This month we will meet at Fire Craft BBQ up in the front of Kingwood on Royal Forest Drive. Pam Walton recently dined there and noticed they have a big empty wall in their dining room and suggested to David Welch, head pit master and owner that our club would love to help decorate the wall with our member's pictures.
