About the event
If the weather is clear and your evening is open – this is a truly marvelous event to photograph in Kingwood. A good spot is along Scenic Shore Drive where the greenbelt trail goes down to Lake Houston. A planning app like Photo Pills is a great app for planning astrophotography and also the Tim and Date website.
The eclipse starts at around 10:57 pm on the 13th and ends at 1:58 am on the 14th. The closest street address to access the trail is 1707 Scenic Shore Drive, in The Cove Village, just off of Willow Terrace Drive.
