About the event
Our club members will visit Huntsville, Texas and have photo opportunities at the statue of Sam Houston, The Prison Museum, and the Veterans Museum of Texas , as well as the historic Market Street area with a stop for lunch before heading home at the Texas Cafe, the oldest cafe in Texas.
The focus of this outing will be on capturing and telling a story of local history and small town life.
Meet at the Kingwood First Baptist Church to figure out car pools, hopefully depart by 8:15 am for Huntsville. We will do as much as possible, weather permitting. Lunch will be before heading home at the Texas Cafe, the oldest cafe in Texas.
